Why Dentures & Partials?
If most or all of your natural teeth have been lost to periodontal disease, decay, or injury, dentures may be the solution. Dental dentures, or false teeth, are a realistic substitute for the patient’s original teeth. Missing teeth can create a host of aesthetic and functional problems, including:
- Sagging facial muscles
- Inability to eat certain foods
- Inability to speak correctly
What Are Dental Dentures?
Dentures are prosthetic devices that are molded in order to replace lost teeth or large gaps in your mouth. The hard and soft tissues that surround the oral cavity support this type of solution.
Advantages of Dentures
- Easier time eating
- Improved speaking & restored smile
- Renewed sense of confidence
Common Denture Types
- Conventional dentures that replace all teeth
- Partial dentures that replace any missing teeth
- Immediate dentures created for the patient to wear temporarily
Our Thorough Denture Process
Being fitted for dental dentures is a relatively simple process. During a preliminary visit, the remaining teeth will be removed, and a model made of your jaw. An immediate denture can be created for you to wear temporarily, which will not only act as an intermediate set of teeth, but also as a bandage for healing the mouth tissue. Once the tissue has healed completely, you will then be fitted for custom dentures.
